Terms & Conditions of Membership and Facility Use

  1. Membership Eligibility and Application
    1.1 All applicants must complete the appropriate membership or trial registration form and provide valid identification and contact information.
    1.2 FitCity reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke membership or trial access at its sole discretion, especially in cases of falsified information or breach of rules.

  2. Membership Types and Usage
    2.1 Membership categories include Individual, Corporate, Student, Senior, and Trial Passes. Specific terms apply to each.
    2.2 Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
    2.3 Trial memberships (e.g., 7-day passes) may be availed once per individual and cannot be extended or renewed.

  3. Access and Operating Hours
    3.1 Members may access the club only during official operating hours, which are subject to change during holidays or unforeseen circumstances.
    3.2 Entry is permitted only through biometric scan or presentation of a valid membership card or QR code.
    3.3 Guests are only permitted when accompanied by a member and must sign a liability waiver.

  4. Code of Conduct
    4.1 Members are expected to treat staff, fellow members, and the facility with respect. Any form of harassment, aggression, or inappropriate behavior will lead to suspension or termination.
    4.2 Proper athletic attire, including closed shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times.
    4.3 Equipment must be wiped down after use and returned to its proper location.
    4.4 Use of mobile phones is allowed only in non-workout areas or when listening through headphones. Filming or photography requires prior approval.

  5. Health and Safety
    5.1 All members must complete a health declaration prior to commencing workouts. It is the member’s responsibility to update their health information if conditions change.
    5.2 Members are encouraged to consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.
    5.3 In case of injury, emergency protocols must be followed, and staff must be notified immediately.
    5.4 Members using heavy equipment or participating in high-intensity sessions must follow safety instructions and may be required to undergo orientation.

  6. Locker Room and Personal Belongings
    6.1 Lockers are for day-use only unless a long-term locker rental is agreed upon.
    6.2 FitCity is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Members are encouraged to bring their own locks and avoid bringing valuables.

  7. Fees and Billing
    7.1 Membership fees must be paid according to the agreed schedule (monthly, quarterly, or annually).
    7.2 Late payments may incur service charges.
    7.3 Management reserves the right to revise membership rates with prior written notice of 30 days.
    7.4 All payments made are non-refundable unless due to medical exemption with official documentation.

  8. Suspension, Freeze, and Termination
    8.1 Membership can be temporarily suspended (freeze) due to medical reasons, travel, or other valid reasons, subject to documentation and approval.
    8.2 FitCity reserves the right to terminate any membership due to violation of club rules, non-payment, or conduct that endangers others. Additionally, FitCity reserves the right to discontinue access, disallow entry, and permanently ban individuals who repeatedly or egregiously violate these Terms and Conditions.
    8.3 Termination notices must be submitted in writing at least 15 days prior to the next billing cycle.

  9. Promotions, Communications, and Data Privacy
    9.1 By enrolling, members agree to receive transactional messages related to membership, scheduling, and operations.
    9.2 Members may also receive occasional updates, offers, and wellness information via SMS, email, or phone.
    9.3 If you wish to opt out of non-essential communications, you may unsubscribe anytime by contacting our front desk or emailing support@fitcitygym.com.
    9.4 All personal data collected is stored securely and processed in compliance with the Data Privacy Act. FitCity does not sell or share member information with third parties for profit.

  10. Modifications and Legal Rights
    10.1 FitCity reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the facility after notification constitutes agreement to the new terms.
    10.2 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction], and any legal disputes shall be settled accordingly.

  11. Acknowledgment and Agreement
    By signing the membership or trial registration form, the member acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to abide by the above terms and conditions.
